Let's JOURNEY together!

There's no reason any of us should walk through life alone. God didn't design us that way! As a church, we prioritize community, meaningful relationships, & getting to know Jesus. JOURNEY GROUPS are a great outlet to facilitate all 3 of these things.

JOURNEY GROUPS at NewportNaz have two seasons: All-Church JOURNEY GROUP seasons, and Focused JOURNEY GROUP seasons.

All-Church JOURNEY GROUPS are when small groups meet at church and in homes, at various time throughout the week. They are centered around sermon-based discussion guides from that week’s sermon and the whole church is going through the same material.

Focused JOURNEY GROUPS are when small groups meet at church and in homes, at various time throughout the week. These groups are focused on specific topics that we hope you find interesting, and help you to GROW IN FREEDOM in your relationship with God.

During our Sunday morning services, we offer Nursery care and discipleship for newborn - 4 yrs and Kidz Church for 5 yrs - 6th grade. Sunday mornings we gather together in the NewportNaz Kidz Zone at 9:45am for a fun time of fellowship, learning, and exploring — where we always dive deep into God’s Word.

Every 5th Sunday, is a SERVE Sunday. This is a Family Sunday (no Kidz Church, kids sit with their family unit) where our youth and children get to serve alongside our adult volunteers during our Sunday morning service. This is an opportunity for children, ages 5 yrs through 6th grade, to experience volunteer opportunities inside the church on a Sunday morning while being discipled by the adults that currently serve here. Kids will get to experience being on Welcome Team, Media Team, Worship Team, or even Prayer Team. What a great opportunity for our NewportNaz Kidz to make a difference as they serve at NewportNaz!

Birth - 6th Grade

MISSION: NewportNaz Kidz aims to create an atmosphere where kids feel welcomed, accepted, and loved as we guide them towards a personal relationship with Jesus; creating connections for them to navigate real-life situations, experiencing the peace that transforms, discovers purpose, and finds freedom.

 

We aim to be a youth group that points one another and others to Jesus. We also aim to be a youth group that creates ways for students to be inspired by God, passionate about others and engage with the church. Listed below are the times we meet each week...

Sunday Evenings, 6-7:30pm in the NewportNaz youth room.
